Camberwell Community Centre

Camberwell Community Centre (CCC) is one of 11 Community Houses located in the City of Boroondara. With a heavy emphasis in the creative and wellness areas, CCC has an artistic heartbeat and aims to maintain and build upon this foundation and it's more than 40 year history.

Our task was to create a new identity system and extensive set of brand collateral that reflects the centre's history — whilst also looking excitedly to the future of new members and a new home at 33 Fairholm Grove.

Our brand marque is youthful and bold with an emphasis on community and togetherness. Aiming to be artistic, without being pretentious — the marque is inspired by the multitude of works created on the pottery wheel, a key feature of CCC’s offering.

Clay bowls, pots and vessels are transformed into simple geometry — in the form of cropped circles — to create the three variations on the letter C.

Advertising and social media templates are crafted to be user friendly and flexible for the internal CCC team. The brand’s bold typography and diverse colour palette stands strong on its own — the templates also encourage the use of artwork created by the community to clearly convey the message.
